Rho 0.4.0-dev.39
Pre-release
Pre-release
Rho 0.4.0-dev.39 is a conditional evaluation prerelease with automated cross-platform candidate verification and two explicitly unrun human checks.
Highlights
- Provider-first Model settings discover model catalogs, expose reviewed capabilities, support capability-based routing, optional Base URL overrides, and one-confirmation Provider removal.
- Agent work uses durable project-scoped Conversations with bounded concurrency, retry, cancellation, and per-file Apply/Undo safety.
- Editor, Console, Environment, Data Viewer, References, Rename, and project-watcher refresh paths preserve focus, viewport, selection, and truthful error state more reliably.
- Rho ships under AGPL-3.0-only, bundles its license and notices, and performs update checks only after an explicit user action.
Conditional acceptance notice
- Windows clean-profile human installation, warning/publisher presentation, representative workflow, recovery, update check, and uninstall were not run because no Windows device was available.
- Enabled-Gatekeeper macOS human launch was not run because Gatekeeper assessments were disabled on the available Mac. Automated macOS candidate Gatekeeper assessment, Developer ID signing, notarization, stapling, Workspace smoke, and supporting installed-app automation remain separate evidence.
- The project owner explicitly accepted these two limitations for this public prerelease only. This build is for evaluation and testing, not a stable or production-ready release.
Windows trust notice
- The Windows installer is Authenticode-signed with a SignPath Free Trial self-signed test certificate. It is not publicly trusted, does not establish SignPath Foundation acceptance or a production publisher, and Windows or SmartScreen may still warn.
- Verify the installer against the SHA-256 published with this release. The macOS package remains independently Developer ID signed, notarized, and stapled.
Verification
- Candidate evidence binds the exact source commit, final post-sign Windows bytes, SignPath request and certificate facts, macOS notarization/stapling, platform checksums, and this reviewed Release body.
- Publication requires an actor-bound
CONDITIONAL_GOacceptance record containing exactly the two limitations above. Missing, stale, altered, broader, or ordinary-PASS records fail closed.
