Rho enables signed automatic updates for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Updates

  • Windows x64, macOS Apple Silicon, and Linux x86-64 now share the signed
    development updater channel.
  • Rho checks for a newer release after local startup becomes ready and installs
    a verified update automatically with transactional recovery.
  • The release page includes the Windows installer, macOS disk image, and Linux
    AppImage with exact checksums and updater signatures.

Windows trust

  • Windows development packages use the SignPath Free Trial self-signed test
    certificate. It is not publicly trusted, and Windows or SmartScreen may
    still warn.
