ZFileConverter 2.3 is a complete product-level refresh of the Explorer-native Windows converter. It pairs a new native interface and identity with safer defaults, stronger document conversion, and a more dependable release path.

• First-run presets reduced from 81 to 16 focused everyday conversions
• Existing and customized preset libraries are preserved during upgrades
• Advanced preset creation, editing, folders, importing, and exporting remain available
• AVIF is now available in the preset editor

Documents and automation

• PDF to DOCX through Microsoft Word or LibreOffice when available
• Hardened Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to PDF conversion with validated LibreOffice fallbacks
• Output validation before a conversion is marked successful
• Deterministic headless, exit-on-completion, and fail-on-error CLI behavior
