QQ ChainScope 1.2.17 — Short DAW Plug-in Names

QQ ChainScope 1.2.17 主要解决一个很实际的 DAW 使用问题：当插件列表或 Insert 槽位很窄时，原来的长名称很难快速区分 Send / Return / Mixboard。

从 1.2.17 开始，DAW 显示名与实际 VST3 bundle 名改为：

  • QQ A Send ChainScope
  • QQ B Return ChainScope
  • QQ C Mixboard ChainScope

升级 1.2.17 前请注意

旧版文件名不会自动被新版覆盖。请先关闭 DAW，并删除旧版：

  • QQ ChainScope Send.vst3
  • QQ ChainScope Return.vst3
  • QQ ChainScope Mixboard.vst3

再安装新版三个 bundle，避免 DAW 同时扫描到新旧两套插件。

1.2.17 没有改变什么

本版本不改变声音 DSP、Group/Runtime 逻辑、参数 ID、工程状态、FINAL、PHASE、Latency Rescue、Dry/Wet、QQ Bypass、Monitor、Spectrum/Waveform/WaveScope 或 FULL/ECO 的既有行为。

同时包含的近期功能

1.2.16 — Mid Calibration Source

  • L/R 模式新增小型 M 校准源。
  • M ON 时 Send 将 Mid 复制为 L/R 双单声道，用于更准确的硬件左右电平校准。
  • Before 分析以该 Mid 双单声道为参考，After 仍是处理链真实 L/R 输出。
  • Cal 成功后 M 自动关闭并恢复正常 Stereo。

1.2.15 — Transport Stop Hold

  • 修复 REAPER 等宿主 Stop 后继续 callback 时，Spectrum / Waveform / WaveScope 被停止状态静音冲掉的问题。
  • Stop 后图表保持最后一帧。
  • 播放段 RMS / Integrated LUFS 停止累计，不再被停止时段稀释。

QQ ChainScope 1.2.17 focuses on a practical DAW usability problem: long plug-in names are difficult to distinguish in narrow browser and insert-slot views.

The DAW-facing names and VST3 bundle names are now:

  • QQ A Send ChainScope
  • QQ B Return ChainScope
  • QQ C Mixboard ChainScope

Before upgrading to 1.2.17

The new bundle names do not automatically remove the old files. Quit the DAW and delete:

  • QQ ChainScope Send.vst3
  • QQ ChainScope Return.vst3
  • QQ ChainScope Mixboard.vst3

Then install the three new bundles. Do not keep the old and new names together.

What 1.2.17 does not change

Audio DSP, Group/Runtime behavior, parameter IDs, project state, FINAL, PHASE, Latency Rescue, Dry/Wet, QQ Bypass, Monitor, Spectrum/Waveform/WaveScope, and FULL/ECO behavior remain unchanged.

Recent features included in this build

1.2.16 — Mid Calibration Source

  • Added the compact M calibration source in L/R mode.
  • M ON converts the Send source to dual-mono Mid for more reliable hardware L/R calibration.
  • Before analysis follows the Mid dual-mono reference while After remains the real L/R output of the processing chain.
  • A successful Cal automatically turns M off and restores normal Stereo.

1.2.15 — Transport Stop Hold

  • Fixed the case where hosts such as REAPER continue callbacks after Stop and could overwrite Spectrum/Waveform/WaveScope with stopped-time silence.
  • Graphs now hold their last frame on Stop.
  • Playback-pass RMS / Integrated LUFS stop accumulating after Stop.
