Pixela now supports remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integration.

By configuring Pixela's MCP endpoint in an MCP-compatible client such as Codex, you can use Pixela through MCP tools from that client.

Endpoint and Documentation:

For example, in Codex, you can configure Pixela MCP as follows:

bearer_token_env_var = "PIXELA_TOKEN"

Then set your Pixela user token in the PIXELA_TOKEN environment variable before starting Codex.

Once configured, you can ask your MCP client to perform Pixela operations, such as listing graphs, creating graphs, posting Pixels, or updating today's Pixel.

Please note the following points:

  • Pixela MCP uses your existing Pixela user token for authentication.
  • When using Codex, the token is sent as an Authorization: Bearer ... header.
  • When asking an MCP client to use Pixela MCP, include your Pixela username in the request if the client does not already know it.
  • The token is used to authenticate the specified username. If the username and token do not match, the request fails in the same way as the existing Pixela API.

Pixela を remote MCP（Model Context Protocol）サーバー連携に対応させました。

Codex などの MCP に対応したクライアントに Pixela の MCP エンドポイントを設定することで、そのクライアントから MCP tool として Pixela を利用できます。

たとえば Codex では、以下のように Pixela MCP を設定できます。

Codex を起動する前に、PIXELA_TOKEN 環境変数に Pixela user token を設定してください。

設定後は、MCP クライアントに対して Graph の一覧取得、Graph の作成、Pixel の投稿、今日の Pixel の更新などを依頼できるようになります。

ご利用の際には以下の点にご注意ください。

  • Pixela MCP は、既存の Pixela user token を認証に利用します。
  • Codex などのクライアントから利用する場合、token は Authorization: Bearer ... ヘッダーとして送信されます。
  • MCP クライアントがあなたの Pixela username を把握していない場合は、Pixela MCP を利用する依頼の中で username も指定してください。
  • token は、指定された username に対する認証に利用されます。username と token が一致しない場合は、既存の Pixela API と同様にリクエストは失敗します。
