Close IDA before installing or upgrading. Extracted packages contain per-file SHA256SUMS.txt;
installers and Linux/macOS archives also have separate .sha256 files.

No IDA or Qt runtime libraries are bundled. Linux requires system OpenSSL 3 and CA certificates.
macOS uses native networking and does not require OpenSSL; its binaries are ad-hoc signed, without Developer ID notarization.
不附带 IDA 或 Qt 运行库。Linux 需要系统 OpenSSL 3 和 CA 证书；macOS 使用原生网络接口，无需 OpenSSL，使用临时签名，未做 Developer ID 公证。

Linux and macOS have not been comprehensively tested. Please report bugs
with OS, CPU architecture, IDA version, reproduction steps and logs with secrets removed.

  • Add macOS Universal 2 builds for Intel and Apple Silicon, with native macOS networking and a scripted DMG installer.
  • Add Linux MCP support and distribute the full AI Chat plugin with the Linux x64 package.
  • Build and test macOS packages with GitHub-hosted runners; retain the existing installer and command-based launcher.
  • Publish Windows, Linux and macOS assets together after all three hosted package jobs and checksum checks succeed; detect compiler concurrency from the available CPUs.

Linux and macOS versions have not been comprehensively tested. If you encounter a problem, please submit a bug report, including your OS, CPU architecture, IDA version, reproduction steps, and relevant logs with secrets removed.
