This update brings various quality of life improvements to the app.

Changes

Simple Widget (precipitation, dewpoint, humidity, visibility)

  • The widget now truncates precipitation to at most two decimal places.
  • Widget now rounds precipitation (if the user selected mm in settings) and all other values.

Initial Location Request

During the initial request for your location you can give your current location, however, this operation can fail and there weren't messages. Instead, you simply got thrown back to the screen. This is no longer the case.

  • Added a message for user denying location.
  • Added a message for being unable to determine the user's location.
  • Added a message for the location timing out.

FetchErrorHandler (error toasts)

  • Messages for error toasts have been updated slightly.
  • FetchErrorHandler will now properly send hasError false to consumer if SWR's automatic refresh is successful.
  • FetchErrorHanlder now uses a Set to ensure no duplicates.

Search Input

  • Reduced the time until the search input will set the query causing a search to occur.
