Download Wisp for Mac (Apple silicon)

Wisp 1.1.5

This update makes Wisp easier to set up on a new Mac and more comfortable to use across different screens.

What's new

  • Guided model setup. Find local inference engines and installed models, get a Ling recommendation for your Mac's memory, and configure Wisp's text roles. oMLX and model downloads remain separate.
  • Better MacBook and monitor layout. The overlay adapts to different MacBooks and external displays, refreshes after display changes or wake, and uses a short hover dwell.
  • More reliable builds. Browser test fixtures work inside the HOME sandbox, and email-digest date tests handle midnight reliably.

Install

  1. Download the app ZIP above and move Wisp.app to /Applications.
  2. Open Wisp and follow the model setup guide.

Apple silicon Macs running macOS 14 or newer are supported. This download is ad-hoc signed; macOS may require System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway on first launch. The app includes its backend and Python runtime. Install oMLX and model weights separately.
