Spynel 0.14.0 improves continuity and recovery for external coding harnesses, workflow tasks and conversations.
- Independent harness workers retain admitted work across controller replacement and replay committed outcomes without another provider admission.
- Worker protocol checks fence incompatible upgrades; coordinated updates verify the new ready runtime.
- Notifications and scheduled heartbeats use original and explicitly associated conversation context. Unanswered decisions can escalate to an authorized private channel, and answered questions retire pending delivery retries.
- Explicitly authorized private Telegram and WhatsApp notifications can establish local conversation history through ordinary delivery when the platform permits initiation. Telegram bots still require prior platform contact.
- Native process verification, crash-left journal recovery and long macOS temporary socket paths are corrected.
Native archives support Linux amd64/arm64 and macOS amd64/arm64 and include the speech runtime libraries and license notices. The npm package is the launcher for those same native archives.
External effects still require their own durable deduplication; replay receipts do not provide an exactly-once transaction for arbitrary tools or remote services.
