MOBero 0.3.3 improves CPU mining configuration and reports optimization status.

  • Windows and Linux miners now include hwloc for CPU/cache topology detection.
  • Auto thread selection allows XMRig to choose thread count and CPU affinity. New Windows/Linux x64 installations default to Auto; saved manual settings remain unchanged. Stop mining and select Auto to switch.
  • The mining panel reports actual active threads, huge-page allocation, MSR status, and CPU placement.
  • Each launch uses a fresh configuration so stale miner profiles do not override Auto.

Auto is hardware-based configuration, not benchmark tuning. No specific hashrate increase is guaranteed. Huge pages and MSR still require OS configuration/permissions; MOBero does not elevate privileges. Do not run the Linux desktop GUI as root.

Downloads: macOS 26+ Apple Silicon (DMG/ZIP), Ubuntu 22.04+ x64 (DEB/tar.gz), and Windows x64 (EXE/ZIP). The Linux DEB installs libhwloc15; portable Linux users also need that system library. The Mac miner keeps its existing CPU backend. macOS packages are ad-hoc signed, not Apple notarized.

SHA256SUMS and corresponding modified miner source archives are included. Animation rewards remain decorative.
