Custom word replacements now require Local Conversion, matching the regional terminology feature.
The toggle, add form, and existing rule controls are locked while YouTube translation is selected.
Existing rules are retained and become available again after switching back to Local Conversion.
Custom replacements are no longer applied in YouTube translation mode.
Unneeded caption observation now stops in background tabs, without CC tracks, after OCR completes, or when the extension is disabled; monitoring required for local conversion remains available.
