Air Quality Monitor No Longer Connecting Since Upgrading the HA 2025.03.1

Describe the bug

The air quality monitor from Alexa is no longer appearing as an entity since upgrading to 2025.3.1 version of HA.

Running 5.6.0 of the Alexa Media Player Plugin.

The entity reports as being missing, but it is in the Alexa app and can access the data in there, but not HA.

I've removed and added the extension and all other reasonable actions. Is anybody else having this issue?

To Reproduce

If you have the air sensor now, it just shows up as no longer connected

Expected behavior

It shows me the output of the data in HA for my dashboards.

• alexa_media version (from const.py or HA startup log): 5.6.0
• alexapy version (from pip show alexapy in homeasssistant container or HA startup log): 5.6.0

As far as I'm aware no. It appears that the data is not even being pulled from Amazon. The sensors were there prior, but they're not there now it makes me think that maybe some of the API's from Amazon changed and are no longer available to the integration.

Last night, data was displayed for the first time in a few weeks. Today, no data again. Nothing was changed in the HA installation yesterday.

Just wanted to report that this issue is still outstanding as of the June release of Home Assistant. If anybody has any insight as to what the issue might be, it would be greatly appreciated.

Just occurred to me yesterday (July 5, 2025). Air Quality stats just disappeared, and the device is not shown in the Alexa Media Player

Same for me mine stopped around 00:15 (UTC) on July the 6th. Not related to any update activity on my HA server.

It actually has been working for me in version 5.7.6 Core 2025.8.2 Supervisor 2025.08.1 Operating System 16.1
