Sudo Play 1.0.0
The first signed release of Sudo Play, a small macOS menu bar app that picks today's Spotify playlist for you. It ships with 14 curated playlists across six genres and six developer moods.
Install
- Download
Sudo-Play-1.0.0-arm64.dmgbelow - Open it and drag Sudo Play to Applications
- Open Sudo Play. macOS asks once whether to open an app downloaded from the internet. Click Open
The first time you press Play, macOS asks whether Sudo Play may control Spotify. Click Allow, so it can start the playlist in the Spotify app.
The build is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so the "Open Anyway" steps of the beta are no longer needed.
Coming from the beta
Download this DMG and drag Sudo Play to Applications, then choose Replace. Your settings stay. The beta does not update itself, because Sudo Play makes no network call except the daily catalog download.
