SpinWin 1.1
Highlights
The rotation options bar is much easier to notice. When you pick a window, the bar now unfurls open from a narrow pill just above the Dock instead of quietly appearing. It also sits a consistent distance above the Dock, so a large Dock raises the bar rather than covering it, and it honors the system Reduce Motion setting.
Rotated windows can no longer get stranded off-screen. Because SpinWin hides the real window while showing the rotated copy, an unexpected exit used to leave that window parked out of view with no way to get it back. Windows are now restored when the app quits for any reason, including logging out or restarting.
Survives display changes. Connecting, disconnecting, or resizing a display could pull a hidden window back into view next to its own rotated copy. It now stays hidden.
Other fixes
- Double-clicking the menubar icon no longer leaves an invisible full-screen overlay that dims the display and swallows clicks.
- Capture failures that happen after a rotation starts now explain themselves instead of silently reverting.
- Menu checkmarks stay accurate for angles set by dragging the rotation handle.
- Unexpected data from another app's window is handled instead of crashing.
