Hisaab v0.2

Hindi-first UPI expense ledger for Android. Reads payment notifications on-device and turns them into a ledger. The app declares no INTERNET permission, so nothing can leave the phone.

Download: app-debug.apk

Install: allow installs from unknown sources, then grant notification access on first run. Turn on Demo Data in Settings to see the app populated without making a payment. This is a debug build, so Android will warn about the installer.

Changes since the Build Day snapshot

• Android backup is off, so the ledger is never copied to Google Drive.
• Only the bank's sender ID is stored from each message, never the message text.
• Version is now 0.2. One day's build, proven on one phone and one bank, is not a 1.0.

Hisaab v1.0 — Build Day snapshot

This is the build submitted at Fable 5.1 Build Day, Bhopal, 20 September 2026, where Hisaab placed second. It is kept here as a record of what was judged.

Superseded by v0.2. This build left Android backup switched on, which could copy the ledger to the user's Google Drive, so its APK has been withdrawn.
