4.2-p7 (Patch 7)

C64 OS Networking Support Release

Updated Circle to the latest Step 51, introducing networking, USB Plug and Play (PnP), and support for the 8BitDo Retro Keyboard (yes, including the C64 version!), various 8BitDo controllers, and the Xbox 360 PC Wireless Receiver. The goal is to provide better support for USB devices and networking support.

Note: This build is based on the latest version of Circle (Step 51). If you encounter any problems, please open an issue. If necessary, it is recommended to revert to the 4.2-p1 release.

You should be able to configure networking, connect via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and then run a program such as CCGMS Ultimate to connect to a BBS, and now you will be able to configure networking inside of C64 OS and use network enabled applications. Refer to the README and NETWORKING.md for more details.

Also consult the C64 OS Networking Guide for full details on network support inside of C64 OS. (Note: CNP account required)
