FulFillment Inbound v20240320 listTransportationOptions always returns none #4862
|
After proceeding through the steps required to generate a shipment, I frequently stall on getting a transportation option due to none ever being listed. During testing I limited my shipments to 1 or 2 boxes, and that would work eventually. I usually had to submit multiple times (changing nothing about the shipment) and it would eventually just work. Now that I'm trying to send 10 boxes it never works. These are standard size boxes, nothing fancy, and we've shipped 100's of these shipment sizes over the years via UPS. I go through all the required steps and they return without error. listPlacementOptions typically returns 3 options. I then call generateTransportationOptions for those 3 placements, and finally listTransportationOptions. When it did work, it would return ~144 different options, most of which were not useful, but I could simply pull out the standard "UPS Ground" option and then confirmTransportationOptions. There are never any errors, so it makes it quite difficult to track down what I'm doing wrong, or why there would be no transportation options for a pretty standard shipment. Has anyone had any similar experiences and found a workaround? Or any known pitfalls in this area that I'm maybe missing? Thanks! |

@MojoJake not the best place to ask his but recently I find myself working with the FulFillment Inbound API and would like to know if you are currently working on a production environment, the thing is that I'm a bit scare to mess thing up in the production account and not sure if there is a safe way to using this API on a test environment |
