Is there a way to get merged parameters?

As far as I can tell currently there are two places to get DAG parameters:

• get_current_context()['params'] - The default parameters with which the DAG was created.
• get_current_context()['dag_run'].conf - The parameters give to a manually triggered DAG run.

Is it up to me to merge the two within the task, or is there some attribute that already merges them for me I'm missing?

Oh I think I misunderstood.

It appears that get_current_context()['params'] actually already merges params passed in a manual run.
