@appfigures/cli v4.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 09 Oct 15:55

Added

  • Tracked-app breakdown. Count your tracked apps by the data available for them, storefront, monetization model, and whether they're yours or competitors'.
  • Review responses. Reviews now include your response, and you can filter and count reviews by whether you've responded.
  • Store listing ratings. An app's store listing now shows its star rating and number of ratings.
  • Device breakdown for metrics. Split metrics by device type, such as handheld and tablet.
  • Monetization on app records. Each storefront's record for an app now shows how it makes money.

Deprecated

Fixed

  • Replying to a review returns a confirmation. It previously reported an error after the reply had already posted.
  • Tracking a keyword for another app or country keeps its existing tracking. It previously stopped tracking the keyword everywhere else and counted it against your keyword limit again.
  • Other data refinements.

Breaking

  • reviews reply requires --yes. Without it, the command exits without posting or withdrawing anything.
  • store app-ranks returns free and paid chart ranks by default. Pass --subtypes=free for the previous default.

@appfigures/cli v3.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 19 Aug 00:39

Added

  • Apple Ads keyword performance. Each of a campaign's keywords now shows its impressions, taps, installs, spend, and cost-per-install over any date range, and you can rank them by any of those metrics.
  • Apple Ads search-term performance. Every user search term that triggered your ads now shows its impressions, taps, installs, spend, and cost-per-install.
  • Tracked-keyword rank views. See where all your tracked keywords rank for an app and country, and trace how a single keyword's rank moves over time.
  • Keyword suggestions. Discover keyword ideas to target for an app and country, ranked by relevance and drawn partly from apps you compete with.

Breaking

  • metrics query output fields are now snake_case. For example productId is product_id, countryCode is country, and dataType is data_type; the grouping dimensions are now storefront, country, and network.
  • apple-ads report output changed. Each campaign row's metrics is now performance, and the metadata date_range object ({ start, end }) is now performance_date_range, a [start, end] pair.
  • keywords paid reporting window is now an array. Its metadata date_range changed from { start, end } to a [start, end] pair.
  • apple-ads search-terms renamed its text field to keyword_term.
  • Sort flags renamed, with direction split out. store categories, sdks list, and keywords tracked now take --sort (was --sort-by) plus a separate --order, and the old -field descending values are gone. store categories --id is now --category-id, and sdks list --id is now --sdk-id.
  • apple-ads campaigns and apple-ads ad-groups renamed --status to --display-status.
  • apple-ads keywords --status values changed. It no longer accepts running or on_hold; use active, paused, or deleted.
  • Renamed command arguments (affects af mcp tools and the typed client, not the plain CLI). apps search's query is now q, and keywords ranking-apps, advertisers, related, and track take keyword-term instead of keyword-name.

@appfigures/cli v2.0.2

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 14 Aug 17:54

Fixed

  • MCP tools that return data are usable again in Claude Desktop and other clients that require the current JSON Schema standard. They were previously rejected as using an unsupported schema, which made every data-returning tool uncallable.

@github-actions github-actions released this 09 Aug 01:48

Added

  • Apple Search Ads reporting. Inspect your campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and search terms. Report installs, spend, and cost-per-install per campaign and account-wide.
  • Audience insights. See an app's estimated age and gender breakdown, and the apps its users also use.
  • Paid-keyword and advertiser intelligence. See the paid keywords an app bids on, and which apps advertise on a given keyword.
  • Keyword research. Look up which apps rank for a keyword, and find related keywords for ASO.
  • Keyword rank tracking. Track and untrack keywords to monitor your app's rank and get alerts when it moves.
  • Search the metrics dataset catalog. Find datasets by keyword, or list them all with their value type and whether each is private data.

Fixed

  • Listing tracked keywords with their tracking detail no longer crashes when a keyword has no sync history yet.
  • Searching within a command's results returns the most relevant matches first instead of source order.

Breaking

  • keywords rankings → keywords organic. Its --country is now --countries and accepts several countries at once.
  • keywords list → keywords tracked.
