1.17.4 — adapt the official Claude packaging update

This release incorporates Cursor Pstack 0.15.25 through 182f2ce.

Cursor added an official generated Claude Code package. This distribution keeps its shared Codex/Claude tree and existing provider routing. Setup's budget question now uses AskUserQuestion, correcting an earlier unmapped token. The README recognizes upstream's Claude Code support.

The duplicate generated tree and conflicting adapter rules are excluded. See adaptations and source provenance.

Validation: PR #153 includes independent source and shipping reviews, native Codex/Claude budget-dialogue checks, package hashes and maintenance CLI results. Linux CI passed 993 tests with five platform skips and zero failures, plus strict, static, documentation, hook and maintenance checks.

Limits: native cases cover the headless plain-text question path, not graphical tool invocation, automatic skill selection or full setup. The final NOTICE update was applied in place to disposable copies; 237 unchanged contracts retain hash-matched live proof. Local Node 24 tests failed with six failures and five additional errors; unchanged timing fixtures remain tracked in #141. Copilot review was unavailable.

Rollback checkpoint: v1.17.3. Saved assignments, efforts and fallback policy are unchanged. The Opus review refreshed official Claude plugin metadata; the refreshed state is preserved. No Pstack installation change in Claude is part of this release.
