Open Pstack 1.10.1 fixes receipt-normalization instructions
Fixes the receipt-normalization command in provider-dispatch instructions. The old command silently exited successfully without evaluating receipts. The corrected command invokes the shipped executable wrapper, returns a policy event for valid input, and rejects invalid input.
Regression tests execute the command extracted from the documentation and cover successful normalization, model-identity mismatch, and malformed input. Resolves #99.

Validation: PR #100 records 744 Bun tests, strict typechecking, static/plugin/maintenance/documentation checks, GitHub CI, independent review and real installed Codex and Claude Code checks. All 213 packaged files matched the candidate in both installations. Release checkpoint ea09860fa4e100f78447c34abc343d7e1e0eb69d has the same package tree as tested candidate efa07c0beefe37c9f9fd254b704a074ee3d593f7.
In each parent, a preserved authentic receipt produced a 970-byte complete JSON event; a wrong-model copy was rejected with exit 65 and empty stdout. These were receipt replays, not fresh external provider executions. Independent review confirmed the new regression tests fail with the old instruction. No Claude quota waiver was needed; Copilot was quota-limited and supplied no approval.
Open Pstack 1.10.0 adds opt-in Codex startup routing
Codex can opt into Pstack for engineering requests through its native /hooks trust and enable controls. Startup, resume, clear, and compaction reuse a shared routing instruction. Routing-only setup preserves model assignments and spending permissions.

Validation: PR #92 records real Codex and Claude Code routing checks, 742 Bun tests, 8 hook tests, typechecking and maintenance checks. All 213 packaged files match the installed candidate. Release checkpoint 58946622cd331ca6b2fcc37bdf44cdc263895be7 has the same package tree as tested candidate 62e855d160fc5c95e99fb4e9553162499f8630e4.
Limits: routing observations establish skill selection, not completion of the fixture feature. Windows execution remains unverified. Copilot was quota-limited and supplied no approval. The documented receipt-normalization command defect is fixed separately in v1.10.1; prefer that release for installation.

The packaged plugin now ships full copies of LICENSE, NOTICE.md, and both LICENSES/ texts alongside the skills, so an installed plugin carries the upstream licenses and attribution record instead of pointing back at the repository root. The included-sources table credits Eric Litman's Open Pstack port alongside the Cursor, Cursor Team Kit, and Superpowers sources, and tests/skill-collision-repro.sh fails if the packaged copies drift from the canonical files.

External lanes accept an optional --progress path: an exclusively reserved, private, atomically replaced lifecycle snapshot carrying the derived phase, last-observed direct-child state, content-free byte activity, and cancellation facts. pstack-runner status reads explicit progress/receipt pairs, probes launcher identity by process start time, and prints one coalesced line or bounded JSON per lane. Terminal outcomes still come only from the receipt; a finished marker without a valid receipt reports unknown, and an absent or reused launcher pid reports interrupted rather than active. Receipts, parsing, cancellation, deadlines, cleanup, and recovery policy are unchanged.

Native and external workers now receive the same parent-owned Git and handoff instructions. The runner distinguishes delivered handoffs from task completion, while the parent can validate a scoped checkpoint and record an idempotent operation before continuing a blocked execution. Same-route continuation requires explicit saved policy and parent inspection evidence. Strict confinement reports unsupported on every route until a live runtime boundary is proven; the default legacy contract remains prompt guidance.

Failure receipts persist a bounded provider-aware diagnostic instead of truncated raw output: launcher notes, canonical quota codes, selected terminal fields and structural capture counts. Intermediate prompts, reasoning, tool IO, narration, unknown envelope fields, and arbitrary stderr are excluded from persisted diagnostics. Retained terminal result or error text can still quote task content. Routing, quota, timeout, cancellation, and cleanup semantics are unchanged.

Codex workers publish output only when the final turn completes with valid text and consistent available framing. A shared assessment preserves recovery from intermediate errors and keeps protocol completion as a replay veto when output validation or process exit fails.

Claude workers verify the model from main-conversation assistant events. A requested model that appears only in helper usage no longer passes verification. Missing or conflicting primary evidence fails closed, and generic failure receipts omit the verbose transcript. See the verification recipe and evidence.

Claude workers and setup skip the separate auth-status command because startup refresh can consume a token without saving its replacement. Authentication happens in the task. Known API environment guards and the empty settings-source list under apiSpend: deny remain, but Claude billing type is explicitly unverified. Other providers retain their checks.
