Native and external workers now receive the same parent-owned Git and handoff instructions. The runner distinguishes delivered handoffs from task completion, while the parent can validate a scoped checkpoint and record an idempotent operation before continuing a blocked execution. Same-route continuation requires explicit saved policy and parent inspection evidence. Strict confinement reports unsupported on every route until a live runtime boundary is proven; the default legacy contract remains prompt guidance.

Known limits

Claude Code handoff and permission-recovery continuations remain unverified on this candidate. Issue #73 tracks the missing checks. Codex workflows passed. Strict confinement remains unsupported; legacy contracts are prompt guidance.
