Welcome to the Tracel wiki!
Tracel is a fast, modern logging and rollback system for Minecraft servers — built to handle everything from small servers to massive worlds.
Track changes, investigate what happened, and roll back exactly what you need, with high performance, safe concurrency, and reliable storage built in.
Note
This wiki was written for the 1.0.x alpha versions. If something here disagrees with what you see in game, the game is right and the wiki is late — please open an issue.
Warning
Tracel is in an early alpha: it's safe to use, but unexpected things can happen. Keep backups of your worlds.
| You ask | Tracel answers |
|---|---|
| "Who broke this?" | Inspector and lookup — click a block with the inspector to see its full history, or run a search to find who changed an area, when, and how |
| "Put it back" | Rollback — restore what was changed, narrowed by player, time, radius, block type, or action, so you only undo what you need to |
| "Wrong player. Put that back" | Rollback undo — cancel your last rollback and return the world to how it was before |
| "What has this person been up to?" | Player — one report with their block changes, items, chat, joins, deaths, and hotspots, including offline players |
| "We used CoreProtect before" | Migration — import your CoreProtect history so it stays searchable next to what Tracel recorded |
- Blocks — placing, breaking, explosions, fluids, fire, growth, redstone-driven moves, and the many small things Minecraft does on its own
- Items and containers — who took, put, dropped, crafted or lost what, and what a chest held at any moment
- Entities — spawns, kills, item frames, armor stands, leashes, vehicles, and damage dealt
- Events — chat, commands, joins and leaves, deaths, projectiles
- WorldEdit / FastAsyncWorldEdit edits, if either is installed
Each kind can be switched off in the config.
