Changes

  • History renders rows lazily and loads 25 items at a time as you scroll.
  • Transcript previews and cached word counts reduce work while opening and scrolling History.
  • Search runs in the background across all retained transcripts, including unloaded pages.
  • History keeps the latest 200 transcripts. Copying, expanding, and viewing a transcript retain its full text.
  • Unchanged history rows skip redraws when other app state updates.

Validation

The Mac app builds successfully. Six history tests passed, covering pagination, search, previews, refreshes, and cancellation.

Mac installation

Download Omil-0.1.3-4-macos-arm64.dmg, open it, and drag Omil.app onto Applications. Quit an existing Omil installation before replacing it. Eject the disk image, then open Omil from Applications. Complete the first-launch permissions setup. Existing installs update through the signed GitHub Sparkle feed. Requires Apple silicon and macOS 14+.
