ASJTikTok v1.1.3
Built against TikTok 46.3.0, verified against 46.4.0 — every class and method this tweak hooks is present in both.
Fixed
- A crash. It could hit while the Stories screen was open: stories arriving in the background were being added from a different thread than the one drawing the screen. This one was present in every earlier version.
- A story you delete no longer comes back. One path still let a deleted story reappear the next time TikTok happened to send it again.
- The ASJTikTok button no longer appears inside the story viewer, where it never belonged.
- Text stories — the ones people write instead of posting a clip — now get the save and seen buttons like any other story.
Better
- Quiet stories are lifted to a normal level when you save them to Photos. TikTok raises the volume during playback, so a quietly recorded story sounded fine in the app and weak in your album. Stories already at a normal level are saved exactly as they are, so a bulk save is no slower than before.
- Stories download at the best quality TikTok offers instead of the first one it lists.
- The Stories grid is lighter while scrolling, and a story whose cover will not load no longer holds everything up.
- The settings panel shows both versions together, like

What's new
Downloads are now checked before they are kept.
- Downloads are validated: the HTTP status, the file's own header, and — for video — whether it actually decodes. TikTok's CDN answers an expired story link with an error page, and that error page used to be saved as the story. It's what a grey thumbnail with a wrong duration actually was.
- Failed downloads are retried (up to three times) instead of costing that story its only attempt. This is the gap behind "500 stories found, about 400 saved".
- Stories already saved as broken files are repaired: they're detected on launch, cleared, and queued to download again. No action needed on your side, and nothing you deleted yourself comes back.
Verified on device: a planted 3 KB error body named <id>.mp4 was removed on launch, the real story file and cover beside it were untouched, and a story downloaded in the same session passed validation and was kept.

What's new
- Arabic. The whole tweak follows TikTok's own language, with a Language row in settings to override it.
- Fixed: selecting many stories and tapping Save could crash TikTok. Bulk save now runs one story at a time, with a counter while it works and a summary when it finishes — there is no limit on how many you can pick, and you can tap the card to stop part-way.
- Fixed: bulk save in Stories saved nothing when the media was not already downloaded. It now fetches what is missing instead of skipping it.
- Fixed: a story deleted while it was still downloading could reappear on the next launch. Deleting is permanent now. (What the story's own author deletes is untouched — keeping those is the point of the feature.)
- The settings panel shows the running TikTok version beside the tweak's.
