Commander 0.1.0 alpha 5

This alpha adds native task management, system controls, app switching, file actions, and another substantial round of Commander Hub refinements.

Play Protect notice: Commander is distributed directly through GitHub rather than Google Play. Play Protect may therefore describe the app as unknown or block installation. Commander also offers optional sensitive Android features such as Accessibility, notification access, contacts, SMS, and file access. Download only from this release, verify the attached SHA-256 checksum, and do not disable Play Protect globally. More information is available in the setup guide.

New in this build

• Added a native Todoist Tasks view for today's and overdue tasks. It includes filtering, project and priority details, due dates and times, recurring indicators, and direct Todoist hand-off.
• Added keyboard-first task actions. Arrow keys navigate, Enter completes, and Shift+Enter opens the selected task in Todoist.
• Added task-card completion feedback with an accent glow and checked state.
• Added Quick Controls for flashlight, rotation, brightness, volume, media, ringer mode, theme, screen recording, QR scanning, caffeine, screen dimming, Mini Mode, Scroll Assistant, and battery protection where supported.
• Added typed values and modes for brightness, volume, ringer state, theme state, and battery protection.
• Added All Apps and Recent Apps views with searchable, fully navigable lists.
• Added App Switcher with recent-task previews, filtering, keyboard navigation, Enter to switch, and swipe up to close.
• Added a keyboard-driven file actions menu with Open, Open in app, Preview, Reveal in folder, File info, and Delete.
• Added file-type icons and viewport-aware preview loading for long file and folder lists.
• Added app-provided notification actions, Android Snooze, matching action icons, inline feedback, expandable details, notification images, and swipe-right flagging in Commander Hub.

Fixes and improvements

• Improved Quick Control state feedback so toggles remain visible and repeatable.
• Improved App Switcher preview caching, task ordering, and hidden-task filtering.
• Improved plain Tasker alias ranking and immediate execution for exact matches.
• Improved Hub notification title extraction, deduplication, reply continuity, metadata alignment, action-menu sizing, and return-to-Hub behaviour.
• Added minimal Hub scroll indicators and fixed clipped categories, bottom rows, and long action menus on smaller displays.
• Fixed keyboard navigation and selection visibility across long app, shortcut, alias, Settings, file, action, Tasks, Hub, and App Switcher lists.
• Fixed file actions losing the previous query and selection after returning from previews or external apps.
• Fixed filtered Todoist rows being clipped, due-date columns shifting between selections, and task completion lighting the command bar instead of the selected task.

Notes

• Todoist Tasks requires direct Todoist integration and an API token configured in Commander Settings.
• Some Quick Controls depend on device support, Android permissions, app shortcuts, or Shizuku. Unsupported controls are reported without changing system state.
• App Switcher capabilities and preview availability vary by Android version and device software.
