Walkthroughs: ask Claude to explain a sheet ("walk me through this model") and it plays the explanation on the sheet itself, in the live preview. While Claude reads, a progress bar and the points as Claude writes them; then Claude's cursor goes to each range, outlines it, types a short note beside it, and waits for you to click Next (or press →). Back and jumping to any point are there too. Ask a question about the point in the walkthrough's own box: it goes to the chat, and Claude's answer appears in the walkthrough under your question. When the answer is about cells, Claude shows them: one range is outlined, several play as steps (3a, 3b…) right after the point, then the walkthrough carries on. Claude also uses walkthroughs for reviews and meeting prep, pointing at the cells behind each question instead of naming them in text. Everything is drawn in the preview only: nothing is written to the sheet, so collaborators see nothing.
Fixed: in the live preview, text in a frozen row (a sheet's title, say) was cut off where it should spill into the empty cells beside it.
The live preview changed in this release: after updating, quit and reopen Claude Desktop so it loads.
