A feature and usability release: configurable process dump types (Minimal, Limited, Normal, and Full) and low-level keyboard hook interception of Ctrl+Shift+Esc in fullscreen 3D games to reliably bring TaskMan to the foreground.

Process Dumps

  • Configurable dump types. The context menu on Processes and Details now offers a Create dump file submenu with Minimal, Limited, Normal, and Full dump options, matching System Informer / Process Hacker.
  • Robust dump generation. Process dumps map directly to MiniDumpWriteDump types with targeted type flags, with graceful fallback to reduced memory dump types if full address space access fails.

Fullscreen Games & Hotkeys

  • Ctrl+Shift+Esc interception in fullscreen games. When exclusive or borderless fullscreen games hold focus, Windows suppresses shell RegisterHotKey registrations, preventing Explorer from launching taskmgr.exe (and TaskMan's IFEO replacement). When TaskMan replacement is enabled, a dedicated low-level keyboard hook (WH_KEYBOARD_LL on thread tm-hotkey-hook) intercepts Ctrl+Shift+Esc directly from the raw input stream.
  • Forced foreground window switching. Paired with force_foreground (AttachThreadInput + SwitchToThisWindow), TaskMan reliably punches through fullscreen foreground lock restrictions to bring its window to the front when invoked over a fullscreen application.
