My Notebook 2.0.0

My Notebook 2.0.0

We are gradually adding the features a notebook genuinely needs, one careful step at a time. This release started as a specific user request, and it is a big one, so it marks version 2.0: math equations.

Paste math from AI chats

• Copy an answer with equations from Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude and paste it. The equations now render as real math instead of raw text. My Notebook reads the LaTeX when it is there, and reconstructs it from MathML when it is not, so it works across all of them.
• Handles fractions, superscripts and subscripts, integrals with limits, sums, square roots, matrices (with proper brackets), and determinants.

Write your own

• The new fx button inserts an equation with a live preview. Click any equation to edit its LaTeX.

Export

• Web page (HTML) renders the math and is fully self contained (the math fonts are embedded).
• Word and PDF include the equation as its LaTeX source; Print to PDF renders the equations as they appear on screen.

KaTeX is bundled inside the app, so all of this works completely offline. Installing over an existing version never touches your notes.
