Expedition Accounts

These books of account, maintained by someone named Daniel Lowman, date back to 1926 when it appears very specific bank accounts were established in order to fund a series of international travels, mostly based out of Bangkok, for a variable number of men. 1926: Karnak, Egypt 1926: Jiangxi Province, China 1927: Hungary 1927: Tunguska Crater, Siberia, Russia 1929: Vietnam 1930: South Dakota, United States 1931: Pompeii, Italy 1932: Mt. Kailash, Tibet 1933: Nan Madol, Pohnpei, Micronesia 1934: Axum, Ethiopia 1935: Brichester, England Little can be determined about the specifics of the expeditions from these records of account, but there are references in several places to “full reports” being forwarded to “Savitree’s Library”.
