marketing-mindset v0.3.0 — The Despair Dividend

Choose a tag to compare

@axelfreeman axelfreeman released this 07 Sep 18:13

What's new in v0.3.0

  • The Despair Dividend — new section in SKILL.md. The hypotheses that win are the strange ones: the obvious moves fail because everyone already tried them, and once the mind exhausts the ordinary guesses it starts producing free-association, "hallucinated" hypotheses that carry the one thing the reasonable ones lack — a real chance to work. Reaching the state people call despair is not a dead end, it's a method.
  • Condensed version in SKILL.lite.md; rule #8 "Despair is a source" in SKILL.deepseek-flash.md.
  • Restored the missing "Graphics: Draw for the Eye" section in .cursorrules so the Cursor adapter matches SKILL.md.

v0.2.0 — Graphics: Draw for the Eye

Choose a tag to compare

@axelfreeman axelfreeman released this 06 Sep 18:19

New

Graphics: Draw for the Eye — a new section on designing ad creatives from how the human eye works:

  • The eye sees sharply only in a small focal spot (fovea); the rest is background the brain paints in.
  • Every creative needs a background + scene, a hero (anywhere in the frame, but present), and movement (the hardest in a still frame, and the most important — the eye locks onto motion first).

Added to SKILL.md (full), SKILL.lite.md (condensed), SKILL.deepseek-flash.md (rule #7).

Changed

  • Description frontmatter extended to cover ad creatives and visual design.
  • Versions: SKILL.md 0.1.0 → 0.2.0, lite/flash 1.0.0 → 1.1.0.

marketing-mindset v1.0.0 — the marketing OS for AI agents

15 years of B2B marketing distilled into one AI-agent skill. Think like a marketer first, get tactics as the output.

What's inside

  • SKILL.md — the full mindset: 5 principles, competitors as the source of truth, 3 keys to the human, client stages, the stop-list
  • SKILL.lite.md — the same mindset compressed for low-context or weaker models (DeepSeek Flash and friends)
  • README.md — positioning, audience segments, install
  • llms.txt + AGENTS.md — agent discovery triggers (30+ phrases, 6 clusters)
  • .cursorrules — one-click Cursor install
  • examples/demo-transcript.md — a full run: SaaS with 0 clients → first-client gate → 3 competitors → cold emails → 3-month plan
  • scripts/first-client-gate.py — the "client #0 = you" gate

The five principles

  1. Don't learn marketing from stale sources (skip the first Google results and cached LLM doctrine)
  2. Three-month horizon — be useful within 3 months, no 2-year cycles
  3. The user has the right to make the first move
  4. Every hypothesis must be testable fast
  5. Marketing runs ahead of the product
