Poking through the discord, apparently those settings (among others) were moved over to the new RBAC system introduced a while back. The wiki goes into the systems finer details, but if you just want to default apply a permission for all players (for similar results as the old config settings) an insert like below should suffice.1 Adds cross faction chat permission (25) to Sec Lvl Player (195) Remember to record your changes. Ideally using a commented .sql script, in case you ever need to adjust/revert/reapply/etc. For reference, below should be all the 'cross faction' permissions from Note: not every cross faction setting from worldserver.conf were moved to RBAC. The remaining options should still be adjusted in the config. If adjusting there does not work correctly (and rbac_permissions was double checked for new/missed additions) then presumably it's a bug and should be reported in the issue tracker. Footnotes

Uh oh!

My friends and I run a LAN server. To facilitate trade and character leveling, we set the flags in worldserver.conf to allow cross-faction group and guild invites, mail, and chat.
Recently an update was issued that now prevents these cross-faction interactions. This is despite us having them enabled in the worldserver.conf file. Are there any fixes incoming for this, or does anyone have any tips for restoring these features please?
