OpenShaker 1.0.0
Game haptics for ButtKicker and other bass shakers - by baddo & Claude
OpenShaker reads what your racing game reports - engine revs, gear changes, bumps, crashes, wheel lock and slip - and turns it into vibration you feel through your seat. Its effects were tuned to match HaptiConnect's output on real laps (how it was tuned).
Install (one click)
- Download OpenShaker-Setup-1.0.0.exe below.
- Double-click it. It isn't code-signed yet, so Windows may say "Windows protected your PC": click More info, then Run anyway.
- Click Next - the only screen; no administrator rights needed. OpenShaker installs, starts by itself and lives in the tray next to the clock.
First run: turn your amplifier down, pick your shaker by name under Output > Device, press Test tone, then set the amplifier firm but never clattering.

Built with AI, open to feedback
OpenShaker was designed, measured and coded with Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, under the maintainer's direction and testing on a real rig (ButtKicker PRO, Windows 11). It is a young project and your setup isn't the one it was tuned on, so reports are very welcome - bugs, and just as much "how it feels on my setup":
open an issue, or use Send feedback / report a bug in the tray menu. Nothing is sent automatically.
