Viewer Simulation Frame Backlog
Viewer owns its Issue specifications, roadmap and bridge implementation. This page prepares real consumer requirements during dependency waits. Existing cards are reused. Proposed providers, numerical discovery, native code, local Integration, actual Viewer evidence and publication are separate stages. A planned card is not a public API.

The measured proposal is sphere-pile-v1:256aligned centres, fixed indices, radius0.015m and mass0.005kg, no admitted angular state. The host owns stepping. Existing ParticleLayerV0 centre markers use gl_PointSize6/POINTS and lack physical sphere radius/depth. Reusing them as grains would not satisfy #1001. Do not infer public availability from #827 numerical evidence or symmetric friction controls.
Retain original copied metre positions, radius, mass and simulation identity; convert centres AND radius once by1000*mmToSceneUnit. Freeze exact input array brands, stable index ownership, context/revision/step, bitwise equal-step/noop and stale/refusal, null reset, native replacement, complete-frame layer/material coexistence and budgets from #999/#1000 after adoption. Do not invent exported names now.
Actual initial/middle/final public consumer gate: compare numerical data and visible physical radius with a non-unit scale; original CAD shared depth, copied-state controls, late-GPU-failure complete retention, camera/selection/pose/visibility retention, resize/context loss/dispose, one context/GL0/resources0/console0. Mapping/submission CPU time is distinct from GPU completion. #1002 is the separate Physics playback host. No calibrated sand, rolling, rotation or asymmetric-pile claim follows.
The proposal structured-tetra-softblock-compression-v1 contains125vertices/384positive tetrahedra/192outward boundary triangles (576display indices). The5x5x5grid has27interior and98boundary vertices;25fixed lower-face vertices are a separate subset. Static determinant/affine/topology controls in #826 do not prove dynamic solved compression/recovery. Existing fixed17x17cloth does not admit this block.
Keep original125metre positions and tetrahedral identity authoritative. Before code settle either referenced-boundary-only normal validation while preserving all125positions or explicit98boundary compaction with a copied source-index map. Neither silent topology truncation nor all-vertex nonzero-normal rejection is acceptable. Freeze exact Viewer names/array brands/topology/identity, converted limits, copied frame/reset/stale semantics and complete-frame coexistence from adopted #1003/#1004.
Actual consumer gate uses real measured producer compression/recovery snapshots, original position-to-boundary identity and winding, non-unit conversion once, CAD shared depth, camera/selection retention, copy/malformed/stale/changed-same-step/null reset and late-GPU-failure controls, native replacement/resize/context loss/dispose, one context/GL0/resources0/console0. #1006 separately owns host playback and numerical/quality reporting. No FEM/stress/calibrated-material claim.
When dependencies change, inspect actual exports and immutable native/Integration receipts. Update these existing cards and freeze exact executable contracts before implementation. If another genuine consumer requirement is absent, duplicate-search and pre-create a useful planned Issue with its start gate and acceptance. Select a ready Viewer scope while providers remain unavailable; do not manufacture substitute backend support.
Viewer owner preparation: reuse existing GAS-03 #1041; no duplicate gas bridge or facade implementation yet. Current local develop84ee44ea has no gas/density-volume public Physics/GPU/Viewer exports. #829 periodic CG alternative nativeGO/receipt6083537358 is not adopted or a coupled plume/public producer. #1039 GAS-01 and #1040 GAS-02 remain planned. Earlier Jacobi NO-GO remains historical, but the Issue's stage text now records native CG alternative accurately.
Before code require actual adopted copied public CPU density producer and actual common-depth GPU volume frame. Freeze exact32768F64/dims32³/origin/spacing metre authority, density/optical transfer units and colour separately; convert spatial origin/spacing exactly once. Source density bits, simulation identity/context/revision/step and native CAD identity remain separate. Freeze ordinary intrinsic arrays/copied offsets/current topology, same-step original-bit idempotence/stale/reset, finite/nonnegative/domain and F32 safety, complete atomic camera/pose/selection/visibility/fit/resize carry-through and actual material/particle/cloth compatibility. Do not assume one complete renderer mode can carry every old layer without a provider contract.
Existing proposed set/clear/getState names are not callable exports. Native pick/fit/bounds inclusion or exclusion, hide-last native policy, volume opacity/near-far clipping, failed candidate ownership and loss/Dispose must be exact. Native source/measurements cannot be replaced by density or cloth/particle markers. Retain real first/middle/final producer observations; actual nonunit spatial conversion, analytic constant-opacity control/native front-back depth/pixel change/late refusal/resources0/console0 prove the Viewer bridge, not calibrated plume/CFD or full-frame FPS. CPU submission target16.67ms is not GPU completion.
Physics owns GAS-04 #1042 actual host/playback, and existing CHARACTER03 #1065/VEHICLE01 #1068/ROBOT01 #1073 host cards. They currently propose existing packet/pose/view reuse and do not by themselves require new Viewer SDK bridge Issues. Viewer roadmap records their caller/gate distinction and continues ready native-document replacement1061 while gas/grain/soft providers wait.
