First public release of OpenAlt: your Android phone or tablet as a second monitor, a mirror of your PC or a game screen, at home or away.

PC (Linux, GNOME on X11)

  • openalt-0.1.0-x86_64.AppImage: any distro. Make it executable and run it. Press Install next to System permission in This PC once (asks for your password).
  • openalt-0.1.0-amd64.deb: Ubuntu, Debian, Zorin, Pop!_OS. sudo apt install ./openalt-0.1.0-amd64.deb (installs the system helper too).
  • Needs Sunshine; the app can install the Flatpak for you.

Android 5+

  • openalt-0.1.0.apk, signed (SHA-256 of the signing certificate: 03:11:C2:CA:67:A6:20:8E:0F:35:B4:53:6E:D2:87:D3:DA:4A:1B:04:E2:35:A5:3C:C5:57:D3:82:DD:36:33:10).

This is an early release, tested on very few machines. Please read the Known issues first. Checksums: SHA256SUMS.txt.

Early preview. Android APK (debug build, not store-signed). The PC app runs from source for now (see README); AppImage/.deb come with M4. Read the Known issues in the README first.
