  • Files in Open Recent open straight away — no more "you don't have permission to view it", and no more being asked to pick the file again.
  • SheepText can now open any file you can read, wherever it lives on your Mac.
  • Your settings, open tabs, recent files, drafts and plugins move over automatically the first time 3.7 starts. The old copy is left where it was.
  • Opening, saving and Find in Files no longer rewrite a large permissions list every time.

Unsigned build — first launch: right-click the app and choose Open, or allow it in
System Settings › Privacy & Security. Download SheepText-3.7.zip, unzip, and drag SheepText.app
into Applications. Requires macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later, Apple Silicon.
