What is Tac Writer?
Write better, organized and without fatigue! Tac Writer combines two methodologies to improve your writing.
Tac Writer is an innovative tool that integrates two successful methodologies:
- TAC Technique (Continuous Argumentation Technique) - developed by Narayan Silva
- Pomodoro Method - classic time management technique
Together, these two approaches guarantee more organized, productive and less tiring writing.
The TAC Technique (Continuous Argumentation) helps writers develop an idea or explain a concept in an organized manner, dividing the paragraph into different well-defined stages.
| Stage | Emoji | What to Do | When to Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Introduction | π― | Present explicitly what will be addressed | At the beginning of each paragraph |
| Argument | π‘ | Develop the theme, indicate processes and answers | Develop your ideas |
| Quote | π | Support your argumentation with sources | When needing to quote (4+ lines) |
| Argument Resumption | π | Start a new paragraph continuing the idea | When the idea is complex |
| Conclusion | β | End an idea clearly | Finalize a thought |
Using the TAC Technique can promote:
β
Greater comprehension of content by the reader
β
Better organization in your writing
β
Easier writing for the writer
β
Less dense paragraphs that are easier to read
β
Clearer and well-founded argumentation
The Pomodoro Method, created by Italian Francesco Cirillo, is a time management technique that divides work into focused intervals.
Often, the writing process causes us mental fatigue when done for long periods without breaks. At other times, we dedicate little time and get distracted quickly.
One way to overcome these oscillations and guarantee more productivity with less fatigue is to implement good time organization.
Recent research shows that the Pomodoro Method is one of the most frequently used study techniques:
Most frequently reported study techniques:
- β Using summaries: 88.4%
- β Reading: 77.5%
- β Questions and exercises: 71.3%
- β Diagrams: 65.9%
- β Pomodoro study method: 63.6% β
- β Group studies: 48.8%
- β Flashcards and mind maps: 47.3% each
Average weekly time spent on studies (excluding classroom) was 11.78 hours (2023, p.5)
The Pomodoro Method works with time distribution in two stages: study time and rest time.
Standard Cycle:
π POMODORO CYCLE
βοΈ Work: 25 minutes
β
β Rest: 5 minutes
