A life behind the monastery gate now reads like one: 113 lines and five forks of the cloister (novices, copying, bells, meditation, plague in the house, a fugitive at the gate, a year of silence), and no more dances, weddings or village fairs. Hard times, the legacy and the last wish speak of the monastery too.
Fixed
A life that went to the sea (a day trip by train, fishing, a house by the shore) is no longer mourned as one that never saw it.
A childless death is no longer "with the children near".
