Added

• Open any drive or folder as the workspace: a folder button in the status bar
  and a bindable "Open folder" command (Command palette and Settings →
  Shortcuts) open the native OS picker and re-root the session there. This
  unblocks keeping code on a drive other than the home directory, notably on
  Windows.

Fixed

• The breadcrumb no longer labels a manually opened directory as "Home". It
  shows the real path segments, and the "Home" badge appears only when the
  current directory is genuinely under your home directory.
