Self-contained Windows 10/11 x64 installer. Nothing else needs to be installed: Python, Qt, the Visual C++ runtime and ffmpeg/ffprobe are inside. Per-user install, no admin needed.

  • Discord MP4: re-encodes the selected range to fit 10 / 50 / 500 MB. Uses NVENC on NVIDIA GPUs and x264 on any other PC.
  • Trim (lossless): stream copy at original quality.
  • Live size estimate, progress bar + cancel, zoomable thumbnail timeline, keyframe warning.
  • Shortcuts: I / O set in/out, K snaps to keyframe, , / . step one frame, D Discord MP4. F1 lists them all.
  • Recent files, and exports never overwrite an existing file.
  • New in 2.0.2: mp4trim.exe --selftest report.json checks that exports work on the current PC.

Tested with its own ffmpeg only (system PATH stripped) on both the NVENC and the x264 (non-NVIDIA) paths.
