@blueion0612 blueion0612 released this 05 Sep 09:55

The development update of 2026-09-05, merged into the packaged layout.

  • On a screen with less room than the layout's 1024 x 640, the window shrinks to 640 x 400 and the page scrolls, with the bottom panel reachable. The window check opens a 1093 x 574 screen to prove it.
  • --check explains that imufusion has no pre-built package for Windows on ARM or Python 3.15; requirements.txt and the fusion extra leave it out there and the numpy attitude filter is used.
  • On Linux a serial port that is not yet readable names the dialout group; macOS and Linux distinguish a port another program holds.
  • The window check measures a slow frame twice before believing it.
  • The catalogue module's docstring names its own file correctly again.
  • Three control rows (Spectrum, Separation, Denoise) fit beside their sliders and captions under any font, in the scrolling mode too; the window check gives its standard windows a full-size screen so the off-screen platform's 800 x 600 does not switch them into scrolling mode by accident.
  • --check names the course environment mobi311.

The first release with green CI on every job.

  • The Denoise page's two boxes fit beside each other at 1024 px under any font. Under DejaVu Sans, Linux's default, the method box used to be drawn over the channel label.
  • CI installs the libraries Qt needs on a headless runner, so the estimator and window checks run there on Python 3.10, 3.11 and 3.12.
  • STUDIO_HIDDEN=1 keeps the window check's windows off the screen on a machine with a display; STUDIO_BUDGET_MS lets a slow runner state its frame budget.

@blueion0612 blueion0612 released this 05 Sep 08:38

First public release of MINT Sensor Studio: one window for IMU, EMG and PPG sensors and the signal processing taught on them. Every sensor has a simulated version whose faults are set by the user, so an estimate's error can be measured rather than inferred.

  • pip install -e ".[all]" installs the package and the sensor-studio command; python sensor_studio.py runs it from a checkout without installing.
  • Sources: a board on a USB cable, the IMU board over Bluetooth, three simulated sensors, and CSV recordings played back.
  • Two Arduino sketches under arduino/ stream an IMU or an analog amplifier in the line format the window reads.
  • tests/check_studio_math.py checks every estimator against the simulators' truth on both attitude and filter backends; tests/check_studio.py drives every page on every simulated sensor.
