Machogs 1.4.3 adds optional feature usage sharing with self-hosted Native Analytics.
- Sharing stays off by default and requires a fresh choice in Settings → Privacy.
- The app reports only feature names, outcomes, bounded counts, version and a random installation ID. No process names, paths, command arguments or scan contents are sent.
- The CLI sends usage only when MACHOGS_ANALYTICS=1. Its bundled app engine does not send separate CLI events.
- Website page visits and download clicks use the same self-hosted receiver after a separate fresh consent choice. GPC and Do Not Track are honored.
- Memory scans now handle architecture-marked process IDs correctly, including the translated Intel path.
- The receiver stores connection IPs and retains events for 90 days. No producer secret is embedded in the app or website.
The app is a universal Apple silicon/Intel build for macOS 13+, Developer ID signed, Apple-notarized and stapled. Build 16. All 46 core tests passed on Apple silicon and as x86_64 under Rosetta. Launched-app analytics passed; a separate physical Intel Mac was not available for installation testing. Download the DMG, drag Machogs to Applications, and open it. Existing automatic cleanup remains opt-in.
