1. Frontend Architectural Modularization & Clean Separation of Concerns

• Modular Component Subsystems: Decoupled monolithic controller logic into focused, single-responsibility ES modules:
  • components/event-handlers.js: Centralized event delegation for dashboard navigation, card expansion/collapsing, interactions, evidence, credit tradelines, and dispute letters.
  • components/toast.js: Standalone, non-intrusive floating notification system with automated lifecycle management and DOM cleanup.
  • state/backend-sync.js: Encapsulated SQLite case and interaction synchronization with backend Tauri IPC and native system events.
  • state/user-profile.js: Self-contained user identity, initials formatting, local storage persistence, and sidebar avatar synchronization.
  • utils/dom.js & utils/storage.js: Sanitized view injection with setSafeViewContent and fail-safe local storage abstraction.

2. Event Delegation Stabilization & Duplicate Listener Elimination

• Container-Level Event Delegation: Replaced redundant element-level addEventListener calls inside renderDashboardView, renderInteractionsView, renderEvidenceView, and renderCreditView with robust delegated event routing.
• Elimination of Multi-Firing Callbacks: Fixed duplicate callback executions where action buttons were triggering multiple times due to direct element listeners bubbling up into parent view handlers.

3. Toast Notification Storm Fix & Deduplication Engine

• Single-Flight Notification Pipeline: Resolved the multi-toast storm issue where actions like "Clear Cases" and "Load Sample Dossiers" generated four simultaneous toast popups due to simultaneous direct and delegated event handling paired with duplicate showToast and ipc.sendNotification invocations.
• High-Performance Deduplication Cache: Implemented a 600ms deduplication window in showToast that automatically filters rapid duplicate notification payloads while allowing distinct alerts to display cleanly.
• Typed Native Notifications: Extended ipc.sendNotification(title, body, type) to preserve visual status types (info, success, error) across the custom event bridge.

4. WCAG AA Accessibility & SVG Standards

• Screen Reader & SVG Compliance: Added semantic <title> elements and explicit aria-hidden="true" / aria-label attributes to toast icons, close buttons, and modal dialog badges.
• Accessible Notification Dismissal: Enhanced keyboard navigation and focus management across notification close triggers and backdrop clicks.

5. Comprehensive Unit Test Coverage

• Complete Test Suite Passing (71/71 Tests): Expanded automated test suite with coverage for modular components, toast deduplication, event delegation routing, DOM sanitization, user profile formatting, and IPC degradation fallbacks.
