1. Official DebtShark Brand Identity & Visual Assets

  • Complete Visual Rebrand: Introduced the newly generated geometric shark-fin emblem and high-contrast dark-mode brand identity across all application surfaces, desktop icons, mobile mipmaps, landing page artwork, OpenGraph covers, and banners.
  • Cross-Platform Icon Regeneration: Recompiled production application icons (app-icon.png, icon.icns, icon.ico, and all square and mipmap dimensions) using tauri icon.
  • Widescreen Documentation Banners: Added retina-ready widescreen banners (assets/debtshark-banner.png, site/assets/images/debtshark-banner.png, .webp) across project documentation and the marketing landing page.

2. Full Rust Backend & Tauri Engine Rebranding

  • Cargo Crate & Binary Renaming: Renamed the root Rust package and binary to debtshark and the internal library to debtshark_lib.
  • Tauri Application Configuration: Updated productName to "DebtShark", identifier to "com.boredpolymath.debtshark", window title, and metadata in tauri.conf.json.
  • Zero-Knowledge Database Resolution: Hardened multi-OS path resolution in lib.rs and EvidenceVault to prioritize debtshark.db and the DebtShark application support sandbox while retaining backward-compatible fallback access to previous database iterations.
  • Tray Context Menu: Updated system tray menu items to "Exit DebtShark".

3. Frontend Application & IPC Evolution

  • DebtSharkApp Controller Architecture: Transitioned application singleton to DebtSharkApp while exporting backward-compatible aliases (CounterFinApp, SettleMintApp).
  • Storage & State Migration: Updated default local storage slots to debtshark_user_profile_v1, debtshark_demo_mode, and debtshark_legal_disclaimer_agreed_v1 with automatic migration fallbacks.
  • Event Bus Transition: Migrated native IPC toast notifications to debtshark:toast with listeners supporting legacy event payloads.
  • UI Typography & Layout: Synchronized .debtshark-toast classes, header branding, and disclaimer copy across the desktop layout.

4. GitHub Repository Migration

  • Repository Rename: Renamed official repository to boredpolymath/debtshark with updated origin remotes, issue tracker URLs, and release endpoints.
  • Website & Documentation Sync: Updated all crawler directives (robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt, llms-full.txt, and Schema.org metadata) to reflect boredpolymath.github.io/debtshark/.
