• Because Blue Iris does not yet support an updatecheck API, the "Check for Updates" function in the Server Control dialog (accessible to administrator users) now offers to fall back to retrieving update information by proxy from biupdatehelper.hopto.org. This service is operated by the UI3 developer on a best-effort basis and I will try to maintain it until a compatible updatecheck API is added to Blue Iris.
• Now that update checking is functional, a future UI3 update is planned to expose the Check for Updates function directly in the main menu, since it is not very intuitive/discoverable being nested inside Server Control.
