Steer 1.5.12

Download steer-1.5.12.apk below and install it on your Android phone. It bundles the watchapp — open it and tap Install watch app (pbw) to push Steer to your Pebble. (You can also grab steer-1.5.12.pbw directly.)

Fixes

  • Organic Maps (and CoMaps) turns are read correctly. Turns were being guessed from the icon's shape and often shown as "straight ahead" on the watch — Steer now recognises Organic Maps' actual maneuver icons (left, right, slight, sharp, U-turn, ramps, arrive), the same way it does for Google Maps. This also fixes CoMaps, which was being matched against the wrong icon set.
  • Roundabouts now show a generic roundabout icon instead of "straight". Showing the actual exit number on the watch is a known limitation still on the list.

Watch platforms

aplite, basalt, chalk, diorite, emery — bundled in steer-1.5.12.pbw (and inside the APK).
