Evoker's Omen uses a five-level brewing progression. Each level requires increasingly valuable ingredients as the power of the resulting Evoker raid increases.
- Start with an Awkward Potion.
- Brew it with an Ominous Bottle I to create Evoker's Omen Essence I.
- Brew the Essence with an Emerald.
- The result is Evoker's Omen I.
- Start with an Awkward Potion.
- Brew it with an Ominous Bottle II to create Evoker's Omen Essence II.
- Brew the Essence with a genuine Ominous Banner.
- The result is Evoker's Omen II.
A normal white banner or recreated banner will not work. The recipe requires the genuine Ominous Banner pattern.
- Start with an Awkward Potion.
- Brew it with an Ominous Bottle III to create Evoker's Omen Essence III.
- Add an Emerald and a genuine Ominous Banner.
- The Emerald and Ominous Banner can be added in either order.
- The result is Evoker's Omen III.
- Start with an Awkward Potion.
- Brew it with Evoker's Omen III to create Evoker's Omen Essence IV.
- Brew the Essence with an Emerald Block.
- The result is Evoker's Omen IV.
- Start with an Awkward Potion.
- Brew it with Evoker's Omen IV to create Evoker's Omen Essence V.
- Brew the Essence with a Totem of Undying.
- The result is Evoker's Omen V.
Only the first three vanilla Ominous Bottle levels are used directly:
- Ominous Bottle I → Evoker's Omen I
- Ominous Bottle II → Evoker's Omen II
- Ominous Bottle III → Evoker's Omen III
Ominous Bottle IV and V are intentionally rejected.
Levels IV and V instead continue the Evoker's Omen progression using earlier Evoker's Omen items.
The intermediate potions are called Evoker's Omen Essence I–V.
Regular Essence potions are available, but unwanted automatic variants such as Splash Potions, Lingering Potions, and Tipped Arrows are hidden from the Creative inventory.
