Your Apple identity can live in 1Password.omdrop identity 1password import moves the Apple AirDrop identity off disk into a 1Password item. Omdrop fetches it when you turn it on, keeps it in the kernel's memory for 12 hours by default (identity_cache_hours, 1 to 24, never more than 24 hours after the fetch), and receives and sends without asking again in that time. If 1Password is missing, locked, or you dismiss its prompt, that window uses the self-signed identity and a notification says so. omdrop identity lock turns Omdrop off and clears the cached copy (#18, #19). See the README for setup, including where an Apple-issued identity comes from.
A stalled connection no longer blocks receiving. The receiver ran each TLS handshake on a single thread with no time limit, so one sender that dropped off mid-handshake left the computer invisible for the rest of the window. Each handshake now runs on its own connection's thread with a 30-second limit.
Pins driver brcmfmac-awdl-dkms 0.7.0 (brentkearney/omdrop-awdl#21), whose sender and wake advert read the identity cached from 1Password; run omdrop install-driver to update an installed 0.6.4.
