Brisvia 1.0.1 — corrections to 1.0.0 (please update)
The real network (mainnet) still launches on August 1, 2026 at 15:00 UTC. Until then the app stays
in wait mode: your wallet works and mining unlocks automatically at launch.
Why you should update
1.0.0 had a bug that could block you from creating your wallet: the screen asked for "at least 8
characters" but the app actually required 12, so an 11-character password was rejected with a misleading
message. That is fixed — and so is a lot more.
Fixed in 1.0.1
- Wallet creation: the password rule is now consistent everywhere (minimum 12) and the message says so.
Error messages also clear as soon as you correct the field. - Already had a wallet? The app no longer sends you to the welcome screen on top of an existing wallet,
and it never gets stuck with an untranslated error. - Mining button: if it can't start (no connections yet, clock out of sync, node still loading), it now
tells you why instead of doing nothing. - Restoring your 12 words: an invalid word is flagged on the words screen, not later on the password screen.
- "Use max" when sending now leaves room for the network fee, so the amount actually sends.
- Official pool no longer contradicts itself on screen; and choosing a custom pool without an address
now warns you instead of silently mining solo. - Network panel shows where you are mining, and only says "connected" when there is a real connection.
- Your mining power setting is remembered across restarts.
Before you run it
Verify the SHA-256 checksum and signature published on this page. Only download from
brisvia.com or this releases page.
If you tested the testnet
Create/import your wallet fresh and save your 12 words again — testnet and mainnet do not share balances.
Brisvia 1.0.0 — Mainnet pre-launch release
Brisvia 1.0.0 — Mainnet pre-launch release
The real network (mainnet) launches on August 1, 2026 at 15:00 UTC.
Until then the app stays in wait mode: your wallet works normally and mining
unlocks automatically at launch. You can install it now and be ready.
What's inside
- All-in-one desktop app: wallet + node + miner in one program.
- RandomX Proof-of-Work — mine with an ordinary CPU, no ASICs.
- 0% premine, fair launch, finite supply (100,000,000 BRVA).
- Windows, macOS and Linux. Signed auto-updates.
If you tested the testnet
Please re-import your 12-word phrase in this version. The testnet and the
mainnet do not share balances — your testnet coins have no value and will not
appear here. This is expected.

Notes
- Before August 1 the app shows a countdown and does not mine (this is by design).
- Once the network is live, just press Mine.
Brisvia Miner 0.5.0
Network and mode now shown in the app, Facebook and Bitcointalk added to the links, total mined time no longer lost on close, more compact settings, and UI polish. Available for Windows, macOS and Linux (AppImage + .deb).
Brisvia Miner 0.4.1
UI fixes:
- The wallet screen no longer scrolls and the two panels are aligned.
- Pagination arrows stay in place when changing pages.
- Mining time is now shown in days, hours, minutes and seconds.
Brisvia Miner 0.4.0
What's new:
- New Achievements section: 50 achievements that unlock automatically based on what you do (mining, balance, sends, receives, time on the network, network pioneer). They all travel with your 12 words.
- Social links moved to the header, visible from any screen.
- The app version now appears next to the name.
- The activity list is now split into pages.
Brisvia Miner 0.3.0
Fixes and improvements:
- Pop-ups no longer close when you click outside the box (they close only with the X, the buttons or the Escape key).
- The system tray tooltip now follows the selected language.
- A mined block's detail now shows the correct reward.
Brisvia Miner v0.2.0
Brisvia Miner v0.2.0
- Wallet password: your wallet is now protected with a password. The 12-word recovery phrase is stored encrypted (Argon2id + AES-256-GCM) and the password is required to send. Existing wallets are offered a password when opened; if you forget it, you recover with your 12 words.
- Send: available balance shown, manual amount, "use max", clearer validations and error messages.
- UX: mining status visible from the wallet screen, tidier testnet banner, keeps your session when changing power, resumes mining after an update, app version shown (also in the update pop-up), coins mined shown instead of blocks, clearer tray tooltip, more precise difficulty.
Windows: download the .exe below. macOS (Apple Silicon): the .dmg is attached automatically.
Brisvia Miner v0.1.2
Fixes the 'file in use' error when updating: the installer now closes the miner and the node before replacing the files.
