Current Target Platforms

  • "BoosterPack Node" - based on a COTS prototyping board for the MSP430 value line family

    • Microcontroller - MSP430G2553
      • 16KB Flash, 0.5KB RAM, 16bit
    • Primary radio - CC110L (Anaren module A110LR09A)
    • Secondary radios - nRF24L01P, RFM69HW (433MHz)
    • Power - 3.3V rail from LDO, accepts up to 13.2V input
    • Sensors - MCP9700A temperature sensor
  • "Leaf Node" - custom board targeted for small size and low-cost

    • Microcontroller - LPC812
      • 16KB Flash, 4KB RAM, 32bit ARM Cortex-M0+
    • Primary radio - nRF24L01P
    • Power - 3.3V rail, unregulated (intended for coin cell)
    • Sensors - TC1046VNBTR temperature sensor
  • Edison

    • Microcontroller - Quark MCU or simulated Arduino
    • Primary radios - WiFi, BTLE
    • Secondary radios - CC110L, nRF24L01P, RFM69HW (433MHz)

Planned Future Platforms

*duino - namely the ATMEGA328, ATMEGA644, and ATTINY group of chips. While we are not actively testing these platforms, it might be worth setting up makefiles to support the AVR target. This would let us know in advance if we're adding too many features to run on the smaller ATTINY (8KB Flash, 0.5KB RAM).
